TEDx Speaker | International Business Leader | Diplomatic & Protocol Practitioner
Robert Christopher Scott is an international business executive, TEDx speaker and coach, Distinguished Toastmaster, and trainer whose work focuses on leadership influence, cultural intelligence, and executive presence in global and diplomatic environments.
He is the Chief Operations Officer of Lifespan Co. Ltd., a premier Jamaican bottler of spring water sourced from the iconic Blue Mountains. Previously, he served as Vice President of Export and Market Development at the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), where he led international trade missions, advised firms on global market entry, and represented Jamaica on the Board of the Caribbean Export Development Agency.
Robert’s career spans senior leadership roles across the public and private sectors, including over a decade with Mars Inc. as Country Manager for multiple Caribbean markets and earlier executive roles with 3M Jamaica. He also served as Senior National Trade Advisor on a World Bank–funded programme modernising Jamaica’s trade systems—providing him with rare, hands-on insight into the intersection of diplomacy, policy, and international commerce.
A highly regarded speaker, Robert has delivered keynote addresses, lectures, and executive programmes across the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and North America. His presentations draw from his forthcoming book, "Developing Gravitas and Boosting Your Executive Presence – the Young Professional’s Guide to Executive Leadership”.
Robert is deeply engaged in diplomacy and protocol. He serves as Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Latvia in Jamaica, is Immediate Past Dean of the Consular Corps of Jamaica, President of the Jamaica Yachting Association, and 2nd Vice President of the Jamaica Olympic Association. He is also a Justice of the Peace, Past President of the Rotary Club of Downtown Kingston, and a Knight of the Order of St. George.
His work positions protocol not merely as ceremony, but as a strategic tool for trust-building, reputation management, and modern soft power.
